Many people have had there own idea's about what the letters ouosvavv stand for. So for it to be finally cracked is amazing, this code has stood the test of time for many years. Today it is no longer a mystery it is simply history, so read about it today at this link.

It would seem to me as this is my site that the Anson's are having a laugh at all the people that have tried to crack this. As for Bletchley Park (fantastic code breakers) and the rest of there well past it team!! You are well past it, anyone can guess all they did was string a few words together in 10 minutes and tell people that was there theory. As for Margaret Countess of Lichfield, well I suppose you had to have your say ????? but we dont have to agree :)

There is only 1 problem with the link above it can only be read by someone who is prepared to cross reference all that is said. You will need to have the patience and dedication to work your way through it. After all the website above is years worth of work and you can not expect that to be easy reading.

The Shugborough code will continue to be a mystery till the end of time because there has been that many people saying they have cracked the code. It would cause the Shugborough estate to loose a lot of money if it had been cracked. The fact is the Shugborough estate relies on wanabe crackers because it spreads the word and generates them a lot of money. If you ask them for there own opinion on the code off the record they will tell you this site is the one. But like I said earlier on record they stand to gain nothing from telling people the code has been cracked. Because then there is no mystery and people wont be so inclined to spend £15 getting in.
